Instruments

So the truth is, I spent all of my sweet time responding to all of your letters. I love you guys! This weeks email will have to be short for now.

This weekend were elections in Peru so none of the missionaries or the members were able to gather to watch conference. (Reunions are forbiden on election day.) We spend Saturday and Sunday as normal work days contacting and teaching! Most of the people werent home, so we had a ton of opportunities to meet families in the streets. It was awesome!

Hermana Thompson and I have also been a trio with the lovely Hna Hollingshead for a week. Her companion fell into a hole in her anterior sector, and was recently sent to Cusco to get treated because she hasnt been able to walk for three weeks. We are praying for Hna Sanchez because she is probably one of the best missionaries there has ever been. It is always so interesting for me to see Satan try to tear down these inspiring missionaries through health problems because he knows that he cant make them doubt or lose their testimonies.

This week we were able to meet with a less active RM and his family. It was a miracle! We taught them the importance of OLA (orar, leer, asistir) and the Spirit came into that home so strongly. At the end, Waldo, the less active RM said to us: ``I hate to watch mechanical missionaries teach. But you two arent mechanical at all - you care and teach from the heart. I want you to know that it  has been a long time since I have felt the Spirit so strongly, so thank you for coming here to visit my family.``

We left that visit feeling so spiritually pumped! It was another testament to me that if we are worthy, we can be used as instruments in the Hands of the Lord to bless His other children.

This P-day we also went to the beach in Juli! We didnt play in the wáter of course, but we did play some fun games and play in the sand!
